So these three products I am going to discuss I could absolutely not live without, they form part of my daily skincare routine, and are essentials. I know some people get lazy with their skincare routines, ie skip the moisturiser or often sleep in make up after a night out, but it’s really important not too. Trust me, I bet the majority of you break out after you sleep in your make up! I make sure every day I stick to my routine morning and night, and these are the 3 main products I require. This is also the order I use them in!
1. Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser
I alternate my use of this cleanser with my Clinique soap which I have reviewed here, depending on how dry my skin is that day. I love this cleanser because I feel when I started using it that it improved my skin a lot and helped it clear up. I stopped using it for a while due to starting roaccutane and my skin being really dry, but have started using it again recently and had no problems and think it has made my skin clearer! It contains purifying micro pearls to help purify your skin, and it also contains ‘Tamarind Fruit Acids to frees pores of trapped make-up, excess oil, pollutants and dull-making dead cells’ You can read more, and purchase at their website for £19 -here. They also have some offers of free products at the moment if you spend a certain amount!
2. L’Oréal’s Micellar Water
I have been using this for at least a year or so now, and I cannot cope when I have run out. I use this every single morning and night after washing my face (with clarins/clinique) to remove excess dirt, make- up ect. Now you may say it just feels like water, but if you look at the cotton pad after using it it’s very clear that it removes so much more make up and dirt even after cleansing and washing your face. I also love it because it’s perfect for sensitive skins, it’s hypoallergenic, not perfumed and contains no alcohol and would definately not cause any inflammation. I also use this as my to go make up remover, for after nights out or when I don’t have the time for my full routine to quickly remove make up. I am a massive hater of facial wipes, I find that every time that I use them it causes a break out and I don’t think they’re good for your skin. I know this may not be the case for everyone! But I do think you should give this a try if you haven’t already! You can get this from boots or super drug but it is so much cheaper if you pop to body care! Read more about this on the L’Oréal website here.
3. Cetaphil Oil-Free Moisturiser
I always think an oil-free moisturiser is the way to go, whether you suffer with oily skin or not. This is because they are so much lighter and less likely to clog your pores and are much less greasy. This is one of my favourites as it causes no problems for my skin and removes any dryness I have. Its fragrance free and non-comogenic! It comes in very large pump bottles so for the price it lasts a really long time! This can be a problem when trying to take it anywhere with you on the go! You can order this on their website for £8.99 -here.
Hope you give some of these products a try, if you do and have any comments please let me know!
